Changing or Cleaning a Canon ip4300 PrintHead

In this tutorial I worked with a printhead from a Canon IP4300 Printer. Had to eventually get a new printhead for my Pixma Canon IP4300, because cleaning it did not solve the problem of black ink  looking faded, even though the both black cartridges were new and/or full of ink.
More Details:  The PGBK-5 (the fatter black cartridge) was not showing up on the nozzle check test pattern.  The black grid lines were totally missing. After the cleaning, the results were the same, no improvement at all. So at least I know the cleaning did not ruin anything.  In MS Word, I couldn't print out anything in Black if I had it set to Greyscale only.  It would print out in other colors, though.  If I changed the font color to blue or red, no problem.
Another tip:  I also have a Canon IP 4500 Printer, so I tried switching the PrintHeads around, thinking that an IP4500 is the same as an IP4300, being that they take the same inkjet cartridges, but they are not compatible with each other.  You need to order a PrintHead that is specifically meant for the model.
